All in all a great showing at the Whittemore Speedway for the annual Growler 100. Justin qualified 2nd (tied), started 8th, and finished 2nd. The car was solid and was especially good on long green flag runs. Unfortunately, the feature race had a lot of yellow flags compared to previous years.

After a solid 3rd place finish in Justin's first trip to the Flat Rock Speedway, the team was eager to return for the Stan Yee Memorial 150. A respectable 7th place qualifying effort out of 34 cars, had the team optimistic for the feature race. Unfortunately, while running in the top 5, a shredded oil pump belt on lap 66 ended the night.
After a solid car in hot laps and qualifying 4th, things started unraveling quickly. Between qualifying and the feature, the team had to quickly fix a broken sway bar mount, shock mount, and change the fuel pump. After barely making the call for the feature, Justin had his hands full for 100 laps with an ill handling race car. The last minute shock mount repair didn't hold up and Justin held on to bring the car home to a respectable 7th place finish. |
