The Claucherty Racing team battled motor issues for most of the day at the Birch Run Speedway (formerly Dixie Motor Speedway). The lack of power resulted in Justin qualifying a disappointing 9th, after being in the top 3 in practice. At the start of the race, it was clear that the car was running on 7 cylinders at best. Despite being severely under powered at the fast .4 mile track, Justin was able to move up to 5th from his 9th place starting position. It was actually a suspension piece breaking under caution, that resulted in the 2nd DNF of the season. The resulting motor damages kept the team from being able to run the following night at Owosso Speedway. After a motor swap, next up is the Stan Yee Memorial 150 at Flat Rock Speedway. This prestigious event is also the 3rd event of the Sweet Manufacturing Outlaw Late Model Series, where Justin is currently 3rd in the point standings.
