A big field of cars showed up for the 2016 Michigan Cup at Springport Mid-Michigan Speedway. A broken spool in hot laps forced the team to pull the rear end out and repair it prior to qualifying. The hard work paid off as Justin was able to set fast time, with what is believed to be a new track record. After starting the feature race in the 10th position, Justin was able to move up and bring home a solid 2nd place finish despite an ill handling race car.
